Year 2 Parent Reading and Phonics Workshop

We would like to invite you to our Parent Reading Workshop for Year 2, which will be held on Monday 18^th November from 2:00pm – 3:00pm. This is not a compulsory workshop, however it is a chance for parents to gain a deeper understanding of how reading is taught and promoted at our school, the end of year expectations for children in year 2 and how parents can best support their children at home to reach their potential. It will start with a short presentation by Mr Millership and Mrs Wasway in the KS1 Hall, followed by an opportunity for parents to go into class to watch a reading lesson. Entry for the workshop will be via the Caxton Road entrance.
