Year 3 and 4 Parent Reading Workshop

We would like to invite you to our Parent Reading workshop for Year 3 and 4, which will be held on Monday 14th October from 2:00pm – 3:00pm. This is not a compulsory workshop, however it is a chance for parents to gain an understanding of how reading is taught and promoted at Garlinge, the expectations of children at years 3 and 4 and how parents can best support their children at home. It will start with a short presentation by Mr Millership and Mrs Goode in the KS2 Hall, followed by an opportunity for parents to go into class to watch a reading lesson. Entry for the workshop will be via the main entrance on Westfield Road.
