Harvest Festival Food Collection

We will be celebrating Harvest Festival on Friday 16 October with a special assembly in school for the Year 1 Parents and Carers.

As in previous years, we will be collecting donations for Thanet Food Link and would be grateful for any contributions. Please ensure that any donations are items accepted by the food bank, such as long-life, non-perishable foods.

Suggested donations include:

Tinned vegetables, soup, meat or fish
Pasta, rice and noodles
Tinned tomatoes and pasta sauces
Breakfast cereals and porridge oats
Tea, coffee and long-life milk
Baked beans and tinned pulses
Biscuits and crackers
Tinned fruit and custard

At the moment they have a real shortage of tins of vegetables and fruit, dried foods, packets and cartons (non-perishable foods only). We would be grateful to receive any contributions you feel able to make; all produce will be displayed in the Sports Hall for the children to see.

Thank you for helping us support this important local cause and make a difference to families in our community.
