World Mental Health Day

On Friday 9th October, Garlinge Primary School and Nursery will be wearing something yellow to show our support for YOUNGMINDS and help raise awareness of children and young people’s mental health.

YOUNGMINDS is a fantastic organisation working to ensure that all children and young people get the mental health support they need, while providing advice, resources and support to young people, parents, carers and professionals.

There is no need for donations — we are simply coming together to show our support for this important cause. This will be a non-uniform day, with children encouraged to wear something yellow. If your child has PE on this day, please ensure that their clothing and footwear is suitable for this activity.
