Year 2 visited Wildwood as part of our learning on 'Night Time'. They have been finding out about nocturnal animals in class and this was enhanced by the trip. They enjoyed a walk around the site looking and learning about all the animals but particularly looking at the nocturnal animals on site (Foxes, Owls, Badgers, Hedgehogs and Bats) The children took part in a nocturnal workshop where they were able to find out interesting facts about why these animals come out at night and how they hunt. They also had the pleasure of meeting an owl and listening to some more fascinating facts about these beautiful birds of prey.
