Breakfast club

Garlinge Primary School and Nursery has been running a Breakfast Club successfully for many years and we welcome children 5 days per week during term time. The club is run by a team of experienced teaching assistants commencing at 07.45 in the Key Stage 1 hall. Children are expected to arrive by no later than 08:10.

We insist school safeguarding procedures are followed and children are not left unescorted in the KS1 playground or car park. Parents and carers are expected to deliver their child to the KS1 hall into the care of a Breakfast Club staff member. Parents and carers need to be aware that there are no road crossing patrol staff members at this time so you will need to take extra care when crossing roads.

As a healthy school the children are offered a wide range from our varied menu. 

After breakfast has been eaten, children will have the opportunity to play with board games and/or other quiet toys that will help them to prepare for the start of the day ahead. All children are expected to behave in a quiet and respectful manner in the same way as they would in class.

The school subsidises breakfast club and charge £2.25 per day for each member. All Breakfast Club sessions are booked and paid in advance via our online payment facility, Weduc. If your child is absent from Breakfast Club for any reason you will still be expected to pay for the place.
