At Garlinge Primary School & Nursery, we offer our pupils a varied and exciting PE curriculum along with a varied Sport provision, led by our PE team Mrs Sparkes, Mr Hearn and Miss Bailey. Please take a look at the documents below for more information on the impact the PE and Sport Premium funding has made on our provision, during the past academic year.
The PE and Sport premium must be used to fund additional and sustainable improvements to the provision of PE and sport, for the benefit of primary-aged pupils, to encourage the development of healthy, active lifestyles.
The premium must be spent by schools on making additional and sustainable improvements to the provision of PE, physical activity and sport for the benefit of all pupils to encourage the development of healthy, active lifestyles.
Our predicted spend for the 2019-20 academic year uses our previous developmental outcomes, current action plans, pupil feedback and subject review documents to plan such requirements and is reviewed on a regular basis by the subject leader throughout the year.
The current spending and our final summary for this academic year can now be found by clicking on the ‘Evidencing the impact of the PE and Sport premium’ page below. Please note that this also includes changes that have been made due to Covid-19 impacts.
